ADJUSTMENTS
SETTING THE POWER REGULATOR
Impact wrenches are not torque control devices. Fasteners
with specific torque requirements must be checked with
suitable torque measuring devices after installation with an
impact wrench.
Model NS.990C Impact Wrench incorporates a power regulator
into the reverse mechanism. To adjust the power, rotate the
Power Regulator (9) until the notch aligns with the number of
the desired power setting.
The numbers thru 3 on the housing are only for reference
and DO NOT denote a specific power output.
One () designates the lowest power output while three (3)
denotes the highest.
PLACING TOOL IN SERVICE
LUBRICATION

Always use of an air line lubricator with these tools. We
recommend the following Filter-Lubricator-Regulator Unit:
FACOM N.553
After each eight hours of operation, unless the air line
lubricator is used, detach the air hose and inject about -/2 cc
of oil into the Inlet Bushing (4).
After each forty-eight hours of operation, or as experience
indicates, remove the Oil Chamber Plug (48) and fill the impact
mechanism oil chamber with the recommended oil
