Installing the fins
Your F-ONE SUP is delivered with one or more fins.
Each model is developed to be used with a certain
type of fin configuration. Modifying the fins or the nu-
mbers of fins can lead to significant changes in the
behavior and responsiveness of the board. It is there-
fore recommended to use the fins that were supplied
with the board.
The side fins and certain center fins (on the
MADEIRO and MADEIRO PRO) are equipped with
the FUTURES© system. To install the fins, loosen
the screw at the front of the fin box.
Slide the fin towards the back of the box until the
fin notch is wedged in, then tilt the front of the fin
down towards the front until it completely fills the
fin box. You can then tighten the front screw until
the fin is secured.
Most center fins (ANAKAO, MANAWA, RACE,
RACE PRO) have a US base system. To install the
fin, insert the washer plate into the front half of the
fin box. Then slide the fin into the box by sliding
the studs into the rail. You can adjust the fin posi-
tion, forward or back inside the rail.
Once the correct position is selected, tilt the fin
forward until the hole in the fin and washer plate
line up, then insert the screw and tighten.
The fins supplied can have two types of fin bases.
They are the two bases used on the F-ONE SUP board line.
