GUIDELINES FOR USING EXTENSION CORDS

Make sure your extension cord is in good condition.
When using an extension cord, be sure to use one
heavy enough to carry the current your product will
draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line
voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating.

Always replace a damaged extension cord or have
it repaired by a qualified person before using it.

Protect your extension cords from sharp objects,
excessive heat and damp/wet areas.
f
Use a separate electrical circuit for your tools. This
circuit should be protected with the appropriate
time-delayed fuse. Before connecting the motor to
the power line, make sure the switch is in the OFF
position and the electric voltage is rated the same
as the voltage stamped on the motor nameplate.
Running at a lower voltage will damage the motor.
WARNING! Inadequate extension cables can be
dangerous. Extension cable, plug and socket
must be of watertight construction and in-
tended for outdoor use.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
INTENDED USE
The product is intended for cutting weed, grass or
similar soft vegetation in areas that are hard to reach,
e.g. under bushes, on slopes and edges. It may not be
used to work on unusual thick, dry or wet grass, e.g.
pasture grass, or to shred leaves. For safety reasons
it is essential to read the entire instruction manual
before its first operation and to observe all the in -
structions therein. This product is intended for pri -
vate domestic use only, not for any commercial trade
use. It must not be used for any purposes other than
those described.

ASSEMBLY
WARNING! Risk of personal injury. Underneath
the guard there is a blade that cuts the trim-
mer line. Remove the transport protection af -
ter assembly
FITTING THE GUARD (A)
Put protective hood (4) in place use screws (12)
to fix to the unit.
Remove the transportation protection mecha -
nism from the cutting blade (13) .
FITTING THE FRONT HANDLE (B)
Press in and hold the lock buttons (10) .
Fit the front handle (11) as shown in the diagram.
Release the lock buttons (10) .
PREPARING THE GRASS TRIMMER
BEFORE EACH USE
WARNING! Danger of injury!

Do not use the trimmer if it is damaged or not
working properly, or if the power cord or plug are
damaged. Damaged parts must be repaired or re -
placed before the trimmer is used.

Carefully inspect the area where the lawn trimmer
is to be used, and remove any objects that can be
thrown up by the trimmer.
ƒ
Check visually before use that the power cord and
plug are intact and undamaged. If the power cord
is damaged it must be replaced by qualified ser -
vice personnel.
