Charging Batteries

NOTE:

 The charger is intended to be used in dry 

areas and is not to be installed in bathrooms, etc. 
It is recommended to check battery status every 
morning before daily use (see LED indication - color 
and mode). Battery pack cable contact should always 
be unplugged before battery pack is removed from its 
chair bracket.

Approximately 8 hours charging time 
from depleted to fully charged. Battery 
pack cannot be overcharged. Additional 
battery packs should be stored and 
charged in a dry area and easy to locate. 
Deposit in accordance to local regulations.

The optional battery wall bracket should be 
mounted on a suitable wall in a convenient 
reachable height and the charger cabling plugged 
into the wall outlet.

Optional Battery Wall Bracket

Armrests

The armrests are easily raised when transferring 
the resident onto and from the EZ1000. Pull 
the armrest(s) straight up to a vertical position. 
When your EZ1000 is equipped with front-closing 
armrests (factory-mounted option) raise them first 
to their vertical position before raising the straight 
armrest(s). To lower and secure the straight and 
front armrest(s), do it in a reverse way as stated 
above (lower and fold).

Caster Brakes

Lock all 4 toe-operated caster brakes before 
transferring a resident onto and from chair at all 
times. To release, hit the locked part on each caster.
