4.5.1
Check zero position of the UV - meter
Before the illumination check the zero position of the UV
–
meter has to be checked. For this purpose
the illumination of the device is not yet activated! Check the emission LED (no light!). In case the LED
is on switch the lamp off and switch the UV
–
meter off and on again.
Read the display value and document it in the protocol. Compare the value with the setpoint (0,0 ±
0,1 mW/cm²). If the value is outside of this range it is not allowed to perform a treatment with the
device. Please contact your distributor.
4.5.2
Illumination check
Put the aperture to the maximum position (11 mm, Figure 34). For this purpose loosen the fixation
screw of the aperture, adjust it to its upper endpoint, and fix it again.

The aperture must be fixed during the "Illumination check" and during the treatment
by turning right the control lever.
For the Illumination check keep the
„ILLUMINATION CHECK“
-button (Figure 35) pressed and read the
display value on the UV-Meter at the same time. The display on the device shows
