General tab
Click the
General
tab (see figure 28,

) to open the
General
screen. It contains settings for
front panel lockout (executive) mode, auto switch mode, and factory reset.

Front panel lock mode radio buttons — Select the desired radio button to allow front
panel operation or limit it.
•
Unlock Front Panel radio button
— Allows front panel operation (default).
•
Lock Front Panel radio button — Prevents input switching or setting switch modes
from the front panel (see Front Panel Lockout Mode on page 17).
Auto-input Switching panel

Auto-input Switching — Click the
Enable Auto-input Switching
checkbox to enable
auto switch mode. Two settings are available for this mode.
•
Click the
Priority to highest active input number
radio button to automatically
switch to the highest numbered active input.
•
Click the
Priority to lowest active input number
radio button to automatically
switch to the lowest numbered active input.
Contact Closure Mute Mode panel

Contact Closure Mute mode — Select the
Enable Mute Mode
checkbox to mute the
active input when the input is re-selected through contact closure.

Tally pin LED behavior — Select
Always be lit
,
Never be lit
, or
Blink
radio button
to determine the behavior of any LEDs attached to the tally pins.
NOTES:
• The contact closure button triggers the following actions:
• Pressing the button the first time selects the input.
•
Pressing the button a
second time
mutes the input.
• Pressing the button a third time unmutes the input.
• If video and audio are muted on the local HDMI or XTP output, and a new input is
selected, the video and audio remain muted (the tally output LED mode also remains
unchanged). In this case, pressing the button a second time unmutes the video and
audio.
