Caution
An antistatic wrist strap is required to perform the following procedures to minimize ESD
damage to the devices involved.
Follow these procedures to install the C5215 controller:
1 Verify the box contents .
2 Mount the appliance in a rack .
3 Connect the controller to a power source .
4 Verify the hard drive LED indicator patterns .
5 Attach the optional front bezel .
6 Install a power supply module.
7 Learn how to replace a power supply .
8 Configure the C5215 controller .
Verifying the Box Contents
Before you install the C5215 controller, make sure that you have all of the necessary parts.
