SECURE DIGITAL CARD
A Secure Digital (SD) card is used to load and store various types of data and for various database
updates. Ensure the GTN unit is powered off before inserting or removing an SD card.
929.7.3
SELECTING COM/NAV FREQUENCIES
Tuning control normally remains in the COM window and will return after 30 seconds of inactivity.
USING KNOBS
Press the
small right
knob momentarily to make the NAV window active for editing. The standby
frequency in blue is active for editing. Turn the
large right
knob to select the desired megahertz
(MHz) value. Turn the
small right
knob to select the desired kilohertz (kHz) value. Press the
small
right
knob to transfer the standby frequency to the active window.
USING TOUCHSCREEN
Touch the Standby window. A pull down keypad will appear with the current Standby frequency
highlighted. Touch the numeric keys to add the desired values and touch
Enter
to accept the
displayed value and place it into the Standby window. Touching the
XFER
key will place the
selected frequency directly in the Active window. Touch the Active (top) frequency window to flip/
flop the Active and Standby frequencies.
