ExpertSDR2 SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION
RX1 tab contains CAT-system settings via COM-ports. RX2 settings are the same as RX1.
·
Enable CAT – Checkbox to enable control of the receiver via the CAT-system.
·
Port name – COM-port number.
·
Parit y – Parity.
·
Dat a – Amount of data in bits.
·
St op bit – Amount of stop bits.
·
Baud rat e – Port speed.
·
Enable SubRX cont rol (FR command) - Checkbox to enable control of the sub-receiver
via the CAT-system.
Set the Enable SubRX cont rol (FR command) checkbox to enable the control of the sub-
receiver via the CAT-system.

Ant enna swit ch cont rol – checkbox to enable control of the antenna switch via the CAT-
system. Set the Ant enna swit ch cont rol checkbox to enable the control of the antenna
switch via the CAT-system. Useful for the Ham Radio Deluxe software.

G lobal volume cont rol - When this checkbox is enabled, you control the global volume with
the Volume slider, on the top of the software window, from the CAT-system. Recommended
when you use one RX or VFO A only, SubRX is disabled.
·
View log – display CAT command log.
3.3.4.2 OmniRig
There is an experimental function to synchronize ColibriNANO with an external transceiver via
the OmniRig software.
OmniRig - exchange protocol via the OmniRig software.
Note:

Using the OmniRig software you can send a limited set of control commands.
·
Available control commands:
·
Set VFO frequency, if no VFOB in the CAT protocol;
·
Set VFO A frequency;
·
Set VFO B frequency;
·
Enable receiver's RIT offset;
