6. The Glasair kit provides two alternative places on the forward starboard side of the
fuselage to mount the radio switch. The smaller opening is designed if you plan on
using the normal switch (and separate charging harness) of the normal switch, the
larger opening is for a combination switch with charging jack, as shown in the
picture set below. This particular switch used was actually slightly smaller than the
pre-cut hole, so the first picture shows how to fill in part of the hole to fit the switch.
Note the covering has already been cut as a prelude to sealing the edges (middle
picture) and finally, installing the switch.

7. Before installing the receiver make sure all the
servo connections, Y-harness connections and
switch harness plugs are all fully and correctly
installed. The radio receiver must be wrapped in
foam rubber and secured in the fuselage. In this
case it is lashed to the wing joiner tube sleeve with
a couple wrap ties. It could have just as easily been
secured to the center fuselage bulkhead.
