9.2
Cleaning the air dome
Damage to appliance – Do not use tools!
Attachment screws must only be tightened / loosened using a coin that fits the
slot.
Disassembly
•
Using a suitable coin, unscrew the four attachment screws to the left (anti-
clockwise) and remove the air dome from the appliance downwards.
Cleaning
1. Only clean the blower outlet grid and temperature sensor with a dry brush,
or vacuum using a brush attachment.
2. Clean the internal surfaces of the appliance (under the air dome) and the air
dome itself with a soft cloth, which has been slightly moistened with water
and a little washing-up liquid and squeezed out well.
Assembly
3. Replace the air dome and screw the four attachment screws into place,
turning them to the right (clockwise) using a suitable coin.
4. Check that the four attachment screws and the air dome are securely in
place.
9.3
Changing the air filter
CAUTION: damage to property
•
Check the air filter at least every 4 weeks and replace it, if necessary.
•
To avoid the inside of the appliance becoming dirty and malfunctioning, do
not operate the appliance without the filter cover with air filter.
Disassembly
1. Press the two unlocking mechanisms in the direction of the filter cover with
air filter until they audibly click into place, and pull down slightly.
2. Flap out the filter cover with air filter forwards, and remove.
Changing the filter
3. Remove air filter from the appliance and replace, if necessary.
4. Clean air grid with a brush, or vacuum using a brush attachment.
5. Fit new air filter neatly into the filter cover.
Assembly
6. Insert filter cover with air filter forwards, and push upwards.
7. Press the two unlocking mechanisms in the direction of the
ON/OFF
switch
until they audibly click into place.
8. Check that the filter cover with air filter is securely in place.
