7.4 Installation instruction
CASM parallel kit
7.4.1 Use as intended
The adapter kit allows a parallel motor mounting (⮑ 7.4.2
Recommended motors, page 19) to a CASM linear unit.
7.4.2 Recommended motors
In principle, all motors that are equipped with an smooth
shaft may be fitted. It is important that the rated torque and
speed of the motors does not exceed the permitted values
of the linear unit. Detailed information may be found in the
technical notes relating to the electric cylinders. Ewellix rec-
ommends the following SIEMENS 1FK7 servo motors:
