• When the MMS/SMTP function is on, the camera sends a photo
for about 1 minute before it takes another photo.
• Format the memory card before using it for the first time.
The flash range during night recording does not meet expectations.
• 4 pcs of AA batteries are not sufficient to power night vision of the
camera trap. Insert 8 pcs of AA batteries to ensure their longer life.
• Make sure that the batteries are fully charged or have enough energy left.
• High quality 1.5V NIMH or lithium rechargeable AA batteries can offer
a much better IR flash range than alkaline batteries.
• For sharp, high-quality images, install the camera trap in a dark
environment with no visible light sources.
• For sharp, high-quality night images, install the camera in a dark
environment with no visible light sources.
• Certain surroundings (such as trees, walls, ground, etc.) within the
range of the flash can provide better night shots. Do not point the
camera trap at a fully open area where there is nothing at all within
range of the IR flash to reflect it back. If you point a flashlight in the
night sky, you will not see a thing, just like the camera trap.
The camera trap takes photos, but does not send them to the
phone/email.
• If you select manual mode, the information you enter may be
incorrect. Contact the operator of your SIM card to confirm that all
information such as APN, server, port, etc. is correct.
• If you switch to the MMS function, it is not necessary to add the
international dialling code to the phone number, just fill in your phone
number.
