7. Gebrauch des Staubsaugers
This vacuum cleaner must ONLY be used to pick up substances deemed suitable according
to the information on its nameplate. Incorrect use or misuse will invalidate the warranty.
Appropriate use:
This industrial vacuum cleaner is suited for vacuuming various liquids, cooling lubricants and
swarfs which accumulate during production and metal working processes. The cleaner
separates the swarfs from the liquids. The swarfs remain in the swarf basket and the liquids
trickle into the lower container.
Residual risk analysis
If the instruction manual is complied with and work proceeds in accordance with the
operating sequences it describes whilst applicable safety precautions are taken by
operators, the vacuum cleaner should pose no risk in normal operation.
However, if the vacuum cleaner is used to pick up a variety of substances, there remains the
risk of these substances combining to produce an unforeseeable chemical reaction.
. Disposal of dirt:
Emptying the swarf basket and dirt container:
•
Run the vacuum cleaner hose empty.
•
Switch off the machine by actuating the ON/OFF switch.
•
The liquid can be drained through the draining hose.
•
EP 1236-100: Lower the dirt container through the levers on both sides
EP 1236-140: Loosen tension clamps and take down the motor head
•
The swarfs can now be disposed of separately. For this purpose tip the dirt container out
or remove the swarf basket (only for models with swarf basket).
Caution!
Dirt must be disposed of in compliance with applicable legal requirements for waste
disposal and/or hazardous waste disposal.
Attention!
The viscous slime which originates on cooling lubricants owing to microbial
contamination should be disposed of separately from the container; since through
the viscosity of that slime the swarf basket’s vents may be sealed and the passing
resp. draining of other liquids will be hampered.
