Checks and inspections
Prior to every shift
Check that:
•
All seals are tight.
•
All safety devices are fully operational.
•
The dirt box is empty.
•
The filter is in good working order (see pressure gauge). If the pointer is in the red
zone, clean the filter or check the tubes/hoses.
Every 200 hours of operation (monthly)
Check that:
•
The vacuum cleaner is airtight. There are no leaks.
•
The suction hose and tool are in good condition. They must not be torn, split or
damaged beyond repair.
•
The power cable is not damaged, twisted or squashed.
•
The cloth cartridge filter is not damaged and that there is no evidence of any tears or
holes. If the filter is damaged, you must replace it.
•
The probe is free of contamination.
Every 2000 hours of operation (yearly)
•
Check the condition of the suction unit (side channel blowers).
•
Have the vacuum cleaner undergo a general inspection by the manufacturer or an
authorised Customer Service Centre.
