5. Delivery
Unloading and unpacking
The equipment is supplied packed on a pallet. On receipt, please check the equipment for
visible or concealed damage. If you discover evidence of damage, report this immediately to
the carrier, ensuring that the relevant details are confirmed and recorded.
Caution!
Only a forklift truck with sufficient carrying capacity should be used to lift the
equipment.
The vacuum cleaner can be stored at temperatures between 5° and 40° and at up to 65%
relative humidity. You must make sure that the load-carrying capacity of the floor is sufficient
to support the weight of the machine.
The equipment can be used at temperatures between -5° and 40° and at up to 65% relative
humidity.
Manufacturer approval must be sought if you wish to use the equipment in other conditions.
The packaging in which the equipment is shipped must be disposed of in compliance with
the requirements of applicable national legislation.
Equipment which is no longer suitable for use must also be disposed of in compliance with
the requirements of applicable legislation.
Installing the vacuum cleaner
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the vacuum cleaner is installed in compliance
with local regulations.
This instruction manual must be read and its content understood.
The floor on which the vacuum cleaner is to be placed must be even and solid and have a
sufficient load-bearing capacity.
Connect the hose and the associated accessories (e.g. crevice tool) to the ports on the
vacuum cleaner.
Connecting to the power supply
Caution!
Check whether the voltage, frequency and electrical fusing of the power supply tally
with the information on the nameplate.
Caution!
Repair work may only be carried out once the equipment has been switched off and
disconnected from the power supply.
The power cable may only be replaced by a qualified electrician. To replace the power
cable, you will need to open the control box. Make sure that the earth conductor has been
connected correctly.
