Automatic magnetic latches secure the hinged
cutting board/hatch in the open or closed posi-
tion. The cutting must be in the open position to
use the sink.
Helm Seat
The helm seat is a pedestal seat that swivels and
adjusts fore and aft. There are two levers and one
tension knob on the seat base. Pulling the rear
lever on the starboard side of the seat base allows
the seat to be adjusted fore and aft. Releasing
the lever locks the seat in the desired position.
Pulling the forward lever on the starboard side of
the seat base releases the pivot lock and allows
the helm seat to be swiveled on the pedestal.
The helm seat will automatically lock when it is
swiveled back to the operating position. The fric-
tion knob adjusts the tension of seat base on the
pedestal. It should be adjusted to allow the seat
to be swiveled when the swivel lock is released
and tight enough to eliminate play between the
seat base and the pedestal.
The helm seat is equipped with a flip up bolster
to provide more room between the seat and the
helm. The bolster converts the seat to a leaning
post style seat, allowing the operator to sit or stand
at the helm. To convert the seat to a leaning post,
lift the front of the seat cushion to raise the bolster
and push it back above the seat cushion.
Arm rests on each side of the seat provide a more
comfortable driving position. Each armrest is
secured in the up or down position with a spring
loaded knob. Pull the knob to raise or lower the
armrest. The knob will automatically lock the arm-
rest when it reaches the full up or down position.
A folding footrest on the forward side of the ped-
estal makes the helm more comfortable when the
seat bolster is set to the seat position. Fold the
foot rest up when the seat bolster is in the leaning
post position and fold the footrest down when the
bolster is in the seat position.
Cockpit Lounge Seat
The lounge passenger seat is mounted on the
port side of the bridge deck. There are backrest
cushions on the forward and rear ends of the
lounge to allow passengers to face forward or to
the rear. Cup holders are located forward of the
lounge seat, next to the cabin door.
