full open position. Close the hatch by pushing it to
the closed position. Then twist the latch handles
clockwise until they are tight enough to hold the
hatch firmly to the cockpit sole.
Tackle Center/Work Station - 350 EX
A work station equipped with a sink, cutting board
and tackle storage is located on the port side of
the cockpit behind the lounge seat. A finished
fiberglass hatch protects the sink components
when it is not being used. A gas spring helps lift
the hatch and holds it in the open position. It is
secured with two friction latches that automati-
cally latch when it is closed. To open the hatch,
squeeze the latch levers in each recess on the
rear of the work station and lift hatch. To close
the hatch, push the hatch down to the fully closed
position. Push firmly to compress the seal and
set the automatic latches.
The sink is plumbed to the fresh and raw water
systems. The faucet swivels to allow the hatch to
close. The sink is drained by gravity to a thru-hull
fitting in the hull side. Grab rails and a cutting
board are built into the top of the station. There
are three small drawers and a large drawer with
removable trays for tackle storage and dunnage.
“Push to close” latches secure each drawer when
they are closed. They latch automatically when
the drawers are closed and are lockable.
A large door on the rear of the work station pro-
vides access to a storage compartment and to the
bridge deck air conditioning unit and refrigerator/
freezer unit. The refrigerator/freezer unit is on
the starboard side behind the drawers and the
air conditioning unit is behind a large removable
hatch in the forward bulkhead of the compart-
ment. There is also a 120 volt AC receptacle on
the port side of the compartment just inside the
door. A “Push to close” latch secures the door in
the closed position. It latches automatically when
the door is closed and is lockable.
The cockpit shower is located just to the port side
of the storage compartment. Refer to the Fresh
Water System for information on the cockpit
shower.
Cockpit Refrigerator/Freezer - 350 EX
An insulated refrigerated refrigerator/freezer is
located on the starboard side of the cockpit, just
aft of the helm seat. The freezer compartment is
below the aft hatch and the refrigerator is located
below the forward hatch. The finished fiberglass
hatches are equipped with gas charged springs
