Appendix E: IR Remote Control
The IR remote control is an accessory to enhance the convenient operation of the DVR. You can
perform all the settings and operations from the remote control. The effective distance is up to 33
feet line of sight.
When there is more than one DVR installed in the same environment, you need to select a correct
DVR ID, preventing the DVR from responding to commands from the Remote Control.
To select the DVR ID,
1.
Aim at the IR receiver of your DVR.

Press the
DVR Device Button
first.
3.
Select the DVR ID number by pressing the
Number Button
. The
DVR ID number here must correspond to the “IR Remote ID” set
up in the “I/O Control Menu”, and remember to click
Save
on that
setting page (refer to
6.9.5 I/O Control)
.
For example, if you set up “2” in the OSD setting page, you
need to press “2” on the controller.

Press the
OK
button to complete the setting and now you can control the DVR.
To switch channels,
To select CH1~9, press Number Button 1~9.
To select CH10~16, press the “0” button first to change the Number Button 1~7 as CH10~16, and
then press the Number Button 1~7 to switch to the desired channel. For example, if you want to
select CH11, press “0” first, and then press “2”.
