OPERATING REMARKS
CAUTION:
The UPS is designed to work with IT equipment.
CLEANING
Do not use scrubbing powder and solvents to clean the UPS.
Do not let liquids get inside the UPS.
Make sure the openings in the UPS housing are not blocked. Use a vacuum cleaner
to remove dust from the openings.
The exterior of the UPS housing may be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
STORAGE OF THE UPS
If the device is to be stored for a longer time in temperature of over 25ºC, the
batteries should be recharged for 5 hours, every 4 months. If the temperature in the
storage place is higher, it is recommended to reduce the interval to 2 months.
It is not necessary to unpack the UPS for recharging. Simply connect the UPS to the
mains through special openings in the packaging and recharge the batteries for
about 5 hours. Afterwards, write the date of recharging on the unit's packaging.
TESTING BATTERIES
Although the UPS does not require to be maintained by the user, the batteries should
be periodically checked.
Once a week the UPS will automatically test the batteries. If a problem is found, an
LED will light up to indicate it and an error message will be shown in the LCD display.
The frequency of testing can be altered with the panel or the software. Select the
TEST BATTERY EVERYDAY, EVERY WEEK, EVERY MONTH or DEACTIVATE in
the submenu AUTOMATIC BATTERY TEST in the SETTINGS menu.
