Ambient storage and transport conditions
•
Store the device in a place where the temperature is between 0° and 40°C; if exposed to low
temperatures, the battery may spontaneously discharge.
•
Store the device in a dry place not subject to humidity (relative humidity <90%).
•
Store and transport the device in the box in which it was delivered.
Ambient conditions of use
•
Use the device in a place where the temperature is between 5° and 35°C, relative humidity < 90% and
with an atmospheric pressure between 70 KPa and 106 KPa.
Technical description of the device
Electrical/Electronic
•
Device with circuit board and microprocessor
•
4.3” backlit colour LCD-TFT display with resistive touchscreen
•
Power supply with 2 alternative sources:
-
Internal lithium ion battery pack (Li-ion Polymer Cell) (4 x 3.7V), rechargeable only with the power
supply/battery charger provided,
-
Power supply/battery charger provided:
Input: 100-240VAC / 50-60 Hz / 700 mA
Output: 18VDC / 1.66 A
•
The priority of use of the energy sources is as follows:
1 - Mains
2 - Rechargeable battery
Battery life
During typical use, the rechargeable battery can supply energy for up to 14 hours of use before having to be
recharged.
Caution
Battery life depends on many variables, such as:
-
conditions of the wound and the dressing, for example, seal of the
adhesive film on the skin,
-
number of battery discharge and charge cycles,
-
battery discharge and charge conditions,
-
device storage conditions,
-
date of manufacture of the device.
The battery life indicated is hence purely approximate.
Pneumatic
Suction pressure
•
Suction pressures between
20
and
200 mmHg
.
•
Suction pressure unit of measure:
mmHg
.
•
Suction pressure unit of measure selectable in
ADVANCED USE
:
