Boiler Assembly Check:
The boiler undergoes a comprehensive quality check in the factory, however an assembly check in-situ is
recommended since various changes may have occurred due to transport and positioning at the place of set-
up;
Pellet container -
(with manual filling)
Check lid seal for correct positioning and lid switch for faultless operation; inspect inside of container, remove
any foreign material.
ABM motor – ABM-Motor – torque supports (rubber buffer) –
The motor should not have any room to move between the rubber buffers (due to rattling noises).
At drive unit: Randomly check screws for tightness and tighten is necessary.
Check tightness of the screws of the hollow shaft between motor and rotary valve.
Grate motor (Belimo) –
The grate blades must be horizontal when closed - correct if necessary – then check the M5 nuts of the grate
shaft fixing for tightness. Ensure that the Belimo motor is set correctly (see below - Defective Grate).
Draught plate -
Check for correct positioning
Filling chamber door:
All screws tight, switch point door contact switch OK.
Filling chamber door: Checked for tightness (paper strip test).
Ash door:
All screws tight (particularly the high screws at the bottom).
Ash door: Checked for tightness (paper strip test).
Heat exchanger lid:
Check that the lids seat with total surface area and that the thumb nuts are tightened (the sealing cords must
seat with total surface area over the entire boiler circumference);
Electronics:
Check that the respective plug is engaged at every plug-in location and that no contact pins have slipped
back in insertion;
Cables inserted on site: May not be positioned on or around hot areas (flue tube, suction draught …).
Panelling –
Check all panelling sections for firm position (no sheet should rattle) – tighten if necessary; record any other
damage, remedy immediately if possible.
Defective Grate
When defective grate is shown on the stoves display.
Solution
This is caused by the motor leaving the factory in the
incorrect position. The motor therefore needs adjusting
to ensure the grate opens and closes correctly.
The motor should be set to the following:
When the grate is fully closed, adjust the motor settings,
by turning the arrows as shown on page 28.
Ensure that the grate is in the closed position
