Introduction
RJ-11 Phone Jack
This port connects to the built-in modem (not the
optional
CDMA or GPRS
modem module which is wireless and does not need a telephone line). You
may plug the telephone line directly into this RJ-11 telephone connection.
Note
: Broadband (e.g. ADSL) modems usually connect to the LAN port.
RJ-45 LAN Jack
This port supports LAN (Network) functions.
Note
: Broadband (e.g. ADSL)
modems usually connect to the LAN port.
Vent
This enables airflow to prevent the notebook from overheating.
Overheating
To prevent your computer
from overheating make
sure nothing blocks the
vent/fan outlets while the
computer is in use.
If the computer overheats
you will hear a series of
system beeps, and the
computer will then shut-
down. Allow the computer
to cool before attempting
to restart
