Power on Self Test (POST)
The system BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) performs a series of tests on
the system memory and key computer components every time the computer is
powered on. These tests are called the Power On Self Test (POST). Should an
error exist, the POST routine may halt execution (depending on the problem). If
no error exists, the POST will initialize the BIOS configuration, and boot (start)
the operating system.
POST Message: Normal Operation
You will see the following message if no error exists after the POST routine is
performed.
