Step 3: Installing the Touchpad Driver

Click Start.
!
Select Settings and Control Panel.
!
Double click the System icon.
!
Click the Hardware tab and choose Device Manager.
!
Locate “PS/2 Compatible” under “Mice and other pointing devices”.
!
Click “PS/2 Compatible” with the right button.
!
Choose Properties.
!
Click the Driver tab and choose Update Driver.
!
Press Next to continue the installation.
!
Select “Search for a suitable driver for my device” and press Next.
!
Select “Specify a location” and press Next.
!
Choose Browse to specify the path to E:\Driver\Touchpad\W2K.
Press Open.
!
Click OK.
!
Click Next to insall the driver.
!
If a dialog box appears asking if you want to install the device, click
Yes.
!
Click Finish to end the installation.
!
Close the Properties window and restart your computer.
For more information on the driver, refer to the Readme file under the directory.
Step 4: Installing the Modem Driver

Click Start.
!
Select Settings and Control Panel.
!
Double click the System icon.
!
Click the Hardware tab and choose Device Manager.
!
Locate “PCI Simple Communications Controller” under “Other devices”.
!
Click “PCI Simple Communications Controller” with the right button.
!
Choose Properties.
