16. Batteries/Battery replacement
Replace the batteries after 12 months the latest. If you do not use the device(s) for
longer periods of time, remove the batteries to avoid leaks.
a) Low battery indicators
Sensor:
The display fades when the battery levels are low

Low battery levels are indicated in the display by the icon

b) Replacement
When you are notified of low battery levels, replace the batteries of the device immediately.
17. Care and cleaning
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• There are no parts that require maintenance by you inside the product. Therefore, never
open it (except for the procedure described in these operating instructions for inserting or
replacing the batteries).
• To clean the exterior of the weather station or the outdoor sensor, a dry, soft and clean cloth
is sufficient.
• Do not push too hard on the weather station or outdoor sensor display, as this may cause
scratch marks or lead to faulty or even destroyed displays.
•
Remove dust on the weather station with a long-haired, soft and clean brush and a vacuum
cleaner.
• Use a slightly damp soft cloth to remove stronger contamination from the outdoor sensor.
