17. BATTERY CHANGE
a) Basis Station
Battery replacement is required when:
—
the display contrast drops strongly
—
The symbol “
” (I) appears at the centre of the display
—
nothing is displayed
All settings are lost during battery change. Therefore, proceed as described in
chapter 9. b).
b) Outdoor Sensor
Battery replacement is required when:
—
the display contrast drops strongly
—
The symbol “
” appears in the outdoor sensor display
—
the symbol “
” appears in the basis station display to the left of the outdoor
temperature
—
nothing is displayed
All settings are lost during battery change. Therefore, proceed as described in
chapter 9. a).

If the basis station no longer finds the outdoor sensor after battery change,
start the search for available outdoor sensors at the basis station; see chapter
14. g).
