Appendix 3: eYun Virhub Testing
Case to Implement Point-to-Point
Communication
Figure Appendix 3-1: Virhub implements point-to-point communication
eYun and Virhub can not only implement bi-directional communication between
user device and PC at the monitoring center (see Appendix 2: eYun Virhub
Testing Case to Implement Point-to-Center Communication), with terminal
mapping function in Virhub, it can also implement free communication between
user devices. User devices connect to wireless routers with RJ45 Ethernet cable,
and wireless routers connect to Internet via 3G/4G network, and establish
connection with eYun server on the Internet. On the monitoring center, run
virhub software on the PC, and add mapping for the routers that connect to
user devices which need to communicate each other. Set IP address for the
user devices in the same IP range. Then “Router 1 – Virhub – Router 2” can be
regarded as an infinite net cable that connects user device 1 and user device 2,
and the two devices can be regarded as in the same virtual LAN, and can
communicate each other freely. Below describes the procedure in detail.
