8A.4 GEAR SET INSPECTION
Turn the inner race of the bearing with
your finger.
The bearing should turn smoothly and
quietly.
Also check that the outer races of the
bearings fit tightly in the left crankcase.
Replace the bearings if they are
abnormal.
Check the sprocket and fixing plate for wear
or damage.
Replace the sprocket and fixing plate if
necessary.
