PISTON / PISTON RING INSPECTION
Measure the piston ring-to-groove clearance.
SERVICE LIMITS: TOP 0.09 mm
SECOND 0.09 mm
Inspect the piston for wear or damage.
Insert each piston ring into the cylinder and
measure the ring end gap.
NOTE: Push the rings into the cylinder with
the top of the piston to be sure they
are squarely set in the cylinder.
SERVICE LIMITS: TOP 0.45 mm
SECOND 0.55 mm
