Perform a function test on the lifting module
Check the function of the lifting module in the pellet
store. To do this, set the switch on the connection box
to the "0" position. In this position, the mole is raised
and the LED flashes. When the end position on the
ceiling is reached, the LED lights up continuously.
Check through the access door to the storage room
whether the mole actually lifts or is on the ceiling.
Fig. 7-1: Position "0"
To return the mole to the operating position, set the
switch to position "1". During lowering, the LED also
flashes. As soon as the mole lies on the ground or on
the pellets, the LED lights up continuously. The mole
can now be started from the boiler.
Fig. 7-2: Switch position 1:
Bring the mole to the filling position (to the ceiling) and
back to the ground twice. Check the following points:
•
In the filling position, the hose on the ceiling must
not sag. If it does, the preload of the spring pulls
must be checked.
•
The hose path on the ceiling must be circular with
a diameter of about 100-200 cm. If not, the position
of the cable ties for the spring pulls must be slightly
adjusted.
•
In the filling position, the pellet hose and the mole
are in a protected position. They must not be hit by
the pellets in the filling position.
Checking the preload of the spring pulls
In the filling position of the mole (i.e., if it hangs from
the ceiling), the empty pellet hose must be held by the
spring pulls on the ceiling and must not sag. For the
subsequent monitoring of the preload, the mole must
first be brought to the filling position.
Fig. 7-3: Mole in filling position
The preload of the spring pulls is already set at
the factory. Check the preload with each spring
pull. It is correct if the empty pellet hose weighs about
700 g and is not pulled down.
