The times in the table are only approximate. The time before reaching the temperature is
very individual and depends on multiple factors. The times in the table apply from the point
of reaching the set temperature.
IV. MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the connector of the power
cord out of the socket before any maintenance! Clean the steam pot only after
it has cooled down!
Clean the appliance regularly after every use. Do not use rough
and aggressive detergents (e.g.
sharp objects, peelers, chemical solvents, thinning
agents, caustic agents for cleaning ovens or other solvents
)! Wipe the outer surface
with a damp cloth with soap. Rinse the container from the inside and remove some
possible sediments of limescale with a solution of citric acid or vinegar (then let boil with
clean water). You can take apart the release valve
A1
and clean separately. If you process
thicker foods, we recommend closing the valve from the inside with a sealing cap to prevent
excessive fouling. Never dry the plastic die-cast over a heat source (e.g. stove, el./gas
cooker). If the power cord is soiled, wipe it with a wet cloth. It is common for the surface
colour to change in time. This change, however, does not have any influence on the surface
characteristics in any way and it cannot be subject to a complaint under warranty!
Cleaning of grommet valve
Clean the grommet. In the reverse sequence insert the grommet into the valve groove. In
the reverse sequence assemble the individual parts in the correct order and position (pull
the valve tight with appropriate force).
CAUTION
: Make sure that the bearing surfaces are clean and functional.
Storing
The appliance in a safe place. Store the appliance thoroughly clean on a dry, dustless
place out of reach of children and mentally disordered persons.
V. ENVIRONMENT
If the size of the appliance allows, all the parts contain marking of the materials used
for production packaging, components and accessories as well as for recycling. The
symbols on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the electrical or
electronic product used must not be liquidated together with communal waste. To ensure
the appropriate liquidation take the used appliance to a collection point where it will be
accepted free of charge. Correct liquidation of the product helps to protect valuable natural
resources and helps to prevent a potential negative impact on the environment and human
health which can be the outcome of inappropriate liquidation of waste.
