10 Troubleshooting
If no pellets are transported
If no more pellets are being transported, either the
ETAbox is empty or the suction head is blocked by a
foreign body that got into the ETAbox during filling.
To fix, carry out the following steps:
• Check the filling level of the ETAbox through the
side inspection openings.
• Tap the hopper panels. Thus the pellets trickle
down and arrive at the discharge screw.
• Disconnect the pellet suction hose from the
ETabox and check the opening for foreign bodies.
If the error cannot be fixed, the foreign body is
probably in the extraction unit. To fix, proceed as
follows:
1. Switch off the boiler and power it off the mains
switch. This will prevent an accidental switch-on of
the pellet vacuum motor.
2. Remove the cover on the extraction unit. Behind
this are 2 slits for the barrier plates.

3. Slide the barrier plates into the slits so that the
pellets cannot trickle down.

4. Remove the maintenance cover to get to the
discharge screw.

If the foreign body can be removed, close the
maintenance cover afterwards. Remove the
barrier plates and re-install the cover.
5. If the foreign body cannot be removed, remove the
drive with the discharge screw. To do this, loosen
4 screws on the flange and pull the drive straight
out of the extraction unit.

Remove the foreign body and reinstall the drive.
Close the maintenance cover again, remove the
barrier plates and re-install the cover.
