4. Select the program button on the control panel, adjust the cooking time or manually set
the desired time and pressure (low/high).
5. When the pressure cooker is heated, the air is automatically de-aerated around the blue
safety float valve and you hear this deaeration. Once the pot is properly pressurized, the
cooking time is started.
6. It is also okay if you hear how the pot heats and during cooking.
7. After the cooking time has elapsed, the pressure cooker beeps and automatically
switches to „Keep warm“ mode.
8.
When you release the pressure in the pot, you will see that the safety float valve in the
top lid is in the low position.
9.
After the pressure drops completely or when you lower it by turning it to „
E
xhaust
“,
carefully turn the upper lid counterclockwise and lift the top lid straight up so that the
residual liquid drips into the pot.
10.
When cooking is complete, disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet and
then from the pressure cooker.
11. Allow the pressure cooker to cool completely before cleaning.
ATTENTION
–
During cooking and when opening the top lid, a strong vertical leakage of hot steam
may occur. Be careful, steam and hot liquid may cause burns!
–
The case, the inner pot and the metal parts of the unit heat up when running!
–
When cooking, until it cools down, steam may escape from the pressure valve of the
pot and there is a risk of scalding.
–
While pressure cooker is pressurized (safety float valve is in the upper position), do not
pan over the pot, as hot steam may escape.
–
To release pressure from the pressure cooker, grasp the end of the valve lever (not the
entire valve) and turn it slightly towards the „
E
xhaust
“ position.
!
PRESSURE RELEASE
Quick release of pressure
This method is used for cooking vegetables, seafood and other fine foods. After the
cooking time has elapsed, press the „Keep warm/Cancel“ button and immediately move
the valve lever to the „Venting“ position. You will hear the escaping steam and within 2 to 3
minutes the pressure will be released. The pressure drop will also be visible on the safety
floating valve, which will be in the lower position.
Slow release of pressure - let pressure drop of its own accord
This method is used when cooking foods such as meats, soups, and grains. When cooking
time is up, keep the pressure release valve in the „
Airtight
” position. Let the pressure
cooker cool until the safety floating valve drops.
IV. MAINTENANCE (pic. 7, 8)
1.
Before carrying out any maintenance disconnect the appliance by pulling out the
plug on the power cord from the el. power socket! Only clean the pressure cooker
once it has cooled down!
Clean regularly after every use! Do not use abrasive and
aggressive cleaning agents (e.g.
sharp items, scrapers, chemical solvents and
thinners, caustic agents used for cleaning pipes or other solvents
)!
