4.3.1.
When a keypad is installed, (in the 8-bit mode), its’ LEDs may be controlled in
two ways; independently, where grounding the yellow wire will only turn on the
red LED, & grounding the brown wire will only turn on the green LED. Or, with
the jumper installed as shown in figure 2, grounding the brown wire will toggle
the LEDs on the keypad from red to green. Whichever LED is currently
illuminated will blink with every keypress.
