Maintenance of your wine cellar
Installation and start-up of the wine cellar
As with any other household appliance, regular maintenance will ensure
optimum operability and maximum product life.
1.
Clean the dust off your device once a week with a damp cloth.
2.
Clean the inside and outside of the wine cellar once a year with a
sponge and a mixture of water and neutral soap without perfume.
Ensure that the bottles, once taken out of the cellar, are not exposed to
high temperatures.
A too high temperature could degrade the quality of your wine.
3.
Clean the ventilation grille with water.
4.
Change the filter if your cellar has one.
1.
Strictly speaking, there is no ideal place to set up your wine cellar.
Living room, dining room, kitchen or even a natural cellar are all suitable.
However, to ensure optimal operation of the unit, choose a location that
is open and ventilated, not exposed to the sun or a heat source and not
too humid. As long as your room temperature is between 16 and 32°C.
2.
Install your wine cellar on a flat and stable surface (use a spirit level to
check). Leave a minimum space of 10 cm between the wall and the back
of the wine cellar.
3.
Wait at least two hours before switching on the appliance to allow the
refrigerant circuit to be fully effective.
4.
Plug the power cord from your wine cellar into a wall outlet.
