Query Which Channels a SUITE Remote Controls
Use this menu item to find out the channel assigned to each button on a SUITE remote.
As each SUITE remote is joined to the network, the ESI RF Bridge assigns a channel to each button on the
remote, in ascending order, from channel 1 to channel 31.
IMPORTANT
: The ESI RF Bridge has a maximum of 32 channels available (0 through 31 = 32). Channel 0
is the ALL channel.
For example, if the first remote joined is an Arc remote (4 buttons), then the assignment is:
Button 1 gets
Channel 1
Button 2 gets
Channel 2
Button 3 gets
Channel 3
Button 4 gets
Channel 4
If the next remote joined is a Step remote (1 button), then the assignment is:
Button 1 gets
Channel 5
If the next remote joined is an Arc remote (4 buttons), then the assignment is:
Button 1 gets
Channel 6
Button 2 gets
Channel 7
Button 3 gets
Channel 8
Button 4 gets
Channel 9
and so on.
NOTE:
If enough remotes are joined, so that a channel assignment past channel 31 is needed,
all
remotes joined
after channel 31 will get one of the following default assignments. Any channel assignment can be
changed using the Device Menu in the ESI RF Bridge
— do this only after all remotes/motors have joined.
SUITE Arc remote:
Button 1 gets
Channel 1
Button 2 gets
Channel 2
Button 3 gets
Channel 3
Button 4 gets
Channel 4
SUITE Step remote:
Button 1 gets
Channel 1
