OPERATION
5.1 Overview
General safety regulations for the handling of the equipment can be found in section 1. Read
them carefully before you start using the equipment!
ATTENTION!
The definition of the process and its consumable welding procedure (wire, gas) as
well as the results of the operation and application of same are the responsibility of
the user.
ATTENTION!
Do not turn off the power during welding (with charge).
5.2 Controls and components
Front panel
1) ON/OFF switch: allows the operator to turn the machine on and off.
2) Output Negative Terminal: for welding cable connection.
3) Output Positive Terminal: to connect the electrode holder cable
4) Crank: to adjust the welding current value.
5) Pilot Lamp: to show that the equipment is on
6) Socket to connect the auxiliary equipments (220 V)
7) Digital Instrument: to keep the voltage and current values after welding is finished (optional).
8) Scale - To see the welding current.

5.3 Operation
After connecting the LHJ 750 to the power supply system and connecting the electrode holder
cable and the work clamp, proceed to the following operations::
a) Place the ON/OFF switch on the ON position, the pilot lamp is on; the fan engine starts
creating an air flow which is needed for the machine refrigeration.
b) Preset the welding current through the crank. The crank clockwise rotation increases the
current value; anti clockwise rotation decreases current value.
NOTE!
The welding parameters value basically depend on the material and electrode
diameter in use, on the thickness of the to-be-welded piece as well as on the welding
position.
c) Open the arc and, if necessary, readjust current.
