Do not dispose of electrical equipment together with normal waste!
According to the European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and
electronic equipment in accordance with the national environmental
standards, electrical equipment that has reached the end of its life must be
collected separately and delivered in environmentally suitable recycling
facility. In his capacity as owner of the equipment, it is the duty of this
information about approved collection systems from your local dealer.
When applying this standard it will be improving the environment and human
health.
CAUTION!
Class A equipment is not intended for use in residential
locations where the electrical power is provided by the
public low-voltage supply system. There may be potential
difficulties in ensuring electromagnetic compatibility of
class A equipment in those locations, due to conducted
as well as radiated disturbances.
ESAB can provide you with all necessary welding protection and accessories.

INTRODUCTION
The LHJ 750 is a direct current rectifier, especially designed for the welding of stick electrode and
gouging.
Nominal current of 600 A at 60% of the duty cycle.
The welding current is adjusted continuously and precisely through a crank located on the front
panel.
Has 220 V AC socket for the supply of the auxiliary equipment.
Voltmeter and Ampere meter are optional and can be mounted on to the specific kit.
Forced cooling system, which assures the internal components do not overheat.
The cabinet of LHJ 750 is robust and easily carried through working place. The trolley has break
device and has lifting holes.
Duty cicle
Duty cicle is the proportion between the time that a welding machine can provide the maximum
welding current (load time) and a reference time; according to international standards, reference
time is 10 minutes.
The 60% Nominal duty cicle means that a machine can repeatedly provide its nominal welding
current during periods of 6 min. (load) and is followed by a 4-minute rest (the machine does not
provide welding current) (6 + 4 = 10 min.). This process is repeatedly done so that the
temperature of its internal components do not exceed the project stated limits. The same goes
for any power factor value.
In LHI Rectifier the allowed duty cicle increases up to 100% as the used welding current
decreases; conversely, the allowed duty cicle decreases as the welding current increases up to
its maximum range.
Table 3.1 shows authorised loads for LHJ 750 Rectifier.
