Section 4 – Cradlepoint GPS Settings
Overview
The GPS on the Cradlepoint acts like an independent ‘client’ and delivers GPS to all of the Meters
that are connected. If the Cradlepoint can’t see the satellites, GPS will not be provided.
To verify that you are getting GPS and to see the number of satellites, login to the Cradlepoint and
navigate to
STATUS | GPS
. The screenshot below indicates that the Cradlepoint successfully
acquired GPS Signal.
NOTE: The GPS Antennae must be fully attached to the Cradlepoint to receive GPS. If you are not
receiving GPS, unscrew the GPS antennae and then reattach it.
Troubleshooting the Cradlepoint GPS Settings
This screenshot indicates that the Cradlepoint has not successfully acquired GPS. The following
steps should be followed to make sure that GPS is correctly enabled on the Cradlepoint.
