There are several ways to protect your phone and subscription from
unauthorized use. Anything from a simple keypad lock to full phone
number control.
Keypad Lock
The Keypad Lock helps you to avoid accidental dialling, which can
happen if you keep your phone in your pocket. An icon in the shape
of a key in the display informs you that the keypad is locked.
The keypad lock is automatic. This means that if you do not press a
key within 25 seconds, the keypad is locked.
Note! Calls to the international emergency number 112 can be made
when the keypad is locked. If the phone alarm rings, you can turn it
off by pressing any key.
The keypad remains locked until you:
•
answer an incoming call,
•
replace the battery,
•
unlock the keypad.
Note! The keylock is always disabled if the phone is connected to
vehicle handsfree equipment.
