Click OK in the screen below. The current head ID stored in EEPROM
appears at the bottom of the window. For adjustments requiring you to
input the head voltage ID, go to step 4. Otherwise, click Previous and you
are finished.

Click Previous to return to the Head Voltage ID Input screen. To input the
head ID, select “Change data” and click OK. The screen below appears
allowing you to input the 10 character head ID (necessary after printhead
replacement).

Click OK when finished entering the ID to store the ID in EEPROM.
NOTE: Read head ID from the QR code label from the left side to the
right on the top line and then the left to the right of the bottom
line.
If the head ID is not correctly input, one of the following errors will be
indicated on the bottom of the screen according to the error type.

The number of input figure is incorrect.
o
The parameter is not within the input range.
o
Check ID is incorrect.

Check the current head ID before you replace the MAIN
board. If the logic circuit is normal, you can read the
current data and you do not have to check the head ID
visually.

When you read the head ID by the “Check present data”
function, write down the head ID and input the data in the
EEPROM using the “Change data” function after you have
replaced the new board or head.

If necessary, you can visually find the head ID by shifting
the CR unit to the I/C replacement position without using
the “Check present data” function.
