Make sure your paper is loaded short edge first against the right side of the
rear sheet feeder with the edge guide against it. Don’t load paper above the
arrow mark inside the guide.
■
Make sure the paper size settings are correct for the paper you loaded.
Paper Feeding Problems
■
If paper doesn’t feed, remove it and flip through the stack to separate the
sheets. Reload paper against the right side of the rear sheet feeder and slide the
edge guide against it.
■
Try loading fewer sheets in the rear sheet feeder or front paper cassette.
Paper Jam Problems
■
If paper is jammed:
1. Press
x
Start
to eject the jammed paper.
2. If paper is still jammed, press the
P
On
button to turn off the all-in-one.
Then open the scanner, remove the jammed paper and torn pieces, close
the scanner, and turn the all-in-one back on.
■
If paper is jammed in the front paper cassette:
1. Press
x
Start
to eject the jammed paper.
2. If paper is still jammed, press the
P
On
button to turn off the all-in-one.
3. Close the output tray and remove the front paper cassette.
4. Remove the jammed paper and torn pieces, insert the front paper cassette,
and turn the all-in-one back on.

If you see a message that paper is
jammed in the back of the printer or
auto duplexer:
1. Press the buttons on the sides of the
auto duplexer and remove it from
the all-in-one.
2. Press the gray tabs to open the lower
rear cover.
