If the Customer Display is connected to the Customer Display connector of the UB-S09,
confirm that the settings of the jumper switch on the UB-S09 are correctly set.
Note:
Do not set JP1 open (without jumper). If you short pins other than 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 of JP1, the UB-S09
will not operate correctly.
C.1.4 What is the cable wiring for connecting a printer and a host PC
with a serial interface?
The diagrams below show the pin numbers and pin assignments for the interface connectors,
but only the pin assignments without numbers for the PC side because serial interface pin
assignments of different PCs are different.
Note:
This type of connection is frequently called a “null modem cable.”
