Use these guidelines to locate information about your system:

Software versions:
Look on the back panel of the
computer to see the serial number.
Restart your system. You’ll see the
video BIOS version number
displayed on the screen when your
system performs power-on
diagnostics.
Start SETUP and display the
System Information screen to see
the system BIOS version number.
Start SETUP and look at both
SETUP screens to see your system’s
configuration.
At the DOS prompt, type
VER
and
press
Enter
to see the DOS version
number.
In Windows applications, select
“About” from the Help menu. As
your software application starts, it
usually displays a version number
on the banner screen. Also, you can
check your application
documentation for a version
number.
