Displays the number of scans after performing regular cleaning.
Reset the number of scans after performing regular cleaning.
Scanner Settings
Power Separation Mode
Increases the force used to separate multiple originals in the
Delicate Feed Position
while
(Delicate Feed) is selected.
Enable this to scan originals that are fluffy or stuck together.
Do not use
Power Separation Mode
for thin originals. The originals may be damaged.
Slow
Slows down the feeding speed whenever scanning. Switching
On
and
Off
also switches the icon
displayed at the top of the screen.
Enable this in the following situations:

When originals are jammed frequently
❏
When loading thin originals
❏
When scanning different types or sizes of originals at once
❏
If you feel that the scanner is noisy
Double Feed Stop Timing
Set the timing to stop operations when any double feed of originals is detected.

Immediate: Stops immediately after any double feed is detected.
❏
After Eject: Stops after the originals being scanned are ejected.
DFDS Function
Skips double feed detection only once and continues scanning. Switching on and off also switches the
icon displayed at the top of the screen.
Enable this to scan originals that are detected as double feeds, such as plastic cards and envelopes.
Paper Protection
Reduces damage to the originals by stopping scanning immediately when the following status is
detected.
