Disassembling/Assembling the Main Unit

4.5.6.1 COVER ASSY., DV, C (M, Y, K)

1.

Plug in the power cable and turn the printer on.

2.

Execute “Change Toner C (M, Y, K)” from the “Reset Menu”.

3.

Turn the printer off and unplug the power cable.

4.

Make sure that “Replace Toner C (M, Y, K)” is displayed on the panel, and open
the COVER, FRONT.

5.

Press the knob to open the COVER ASSY., DV, C.

6.

Remove the screw that secures the COVER ASSY., DV, C to remove the COVER
ASSY., DV, C.

C A U T I O N

When performing the following work, be careful not to remove all
COVER ASSY., DV at one time. Each of them has its own
attachment position, and it will be difficult to return all COVER
ASSY., DV to their original positions once they are removed at a
time. Always leave at least one part unremoved.

1.

Match the hole under the COVER ASSY., DV, C with the tab.

2.

Insert the rib of the COVER ASSY., DV, C into the groove.
