HP printer commands
This section lists the printer commands supported in HP emulation.
These commands emulate the
HP
LaserJet series II printer.
A
printer command, also called an escape sequence, is a string of
characters
that
is sent to the printer. The printer interprets the
character string as a command to select a specific feature.
Most software packages have printer commands already embedded
in them, so you may never need to use the information in this
section.
An escape sequence is made up of
an
escape control code followed
by one or more characters in succession.
