Descale the water circuit
• Take the ice from the ice tray to ensure it has
no contact with the descaling solution.
• Close the water supply and let the machine
continue to produce until water shortage is
displayed.
• Remove the main plug.
• Lift the hood off the housing. (take out 4
screws)
• Take off the lid of fresh water supply's float
housing. Substract adhesive tapes from fuel
bowl (in case it is still available) and open the
tank cover (see 11).
• Mix the descaling solution by adding 0.1 to
0.2 l of scale remover to 1 to 2 l of warm wa-
ter (45°C - 50°C).
• Pour the descaling solution slowly in to the
float chamber, up to the overflow nozzle.
• Close the lid of the unit. Close tank and ma-
chine cover.
• Turn on the flake ice machine with the power
switch, let produce ice until water shortage is
displaced again.
• Pull out the mains plug, fill up the fuel bowl
with liquid again. Please repeat until the des-
caling liquid is depleted.
• Wait until the entire descaling solution has
run through the system.
• Open the water supply. Allow the machine to
run until the ice that is produced is clean and
compact again. The ice that contains traces
of descaling solution will look yellow and be
soft.
WARNING
Machine is energised.
Please take precautions when cleaning
components with sharp edges.
Do not use pressured water to clean the
flake ice machine.
