Alignment Procedure
Aligning the Sensor Heads using the Alignment Tool
An alignment tool (
Figure 28
) is provided that simulates the effect of the lens and
Receiver diode.
1. Power up the Receiver. Check the Transmitter is ON (producing a green light
source), then install the Receiver (accurate alignment of the sensor head is
not essential at this stage).
2. Install the alignment tool into the Receiver mounting as follows:
2a. Undo the grub screws behind the Receiver enclosure (refer to
Figure 10
on page
27
) and remove the complete enclosure from the sensor body.
2b. Insert the alignment tool with the wide end first into the sensor body.
